4.1.2 Solution Management

(1) Create solutions: Viplex Express provides a variety of media widgets that can be added to build dynamic programs.

(2) Add media: Drag and drop media files or use the toolbar to insert content. You can resize or rearrange media elements for the best layout.

(3) Set widget properties: Configure the parameters of each widget (such as text, image, video) in the “Widget Properties” tab to achieve precise control.

(4) Adding Pages: Multiple pages can be added to a solution, and they will play in order from top to bottom.

• Set page properties: define the play schedule, time period, and cycle for each page. If the schedules overlap, the system will prioritize them in order.

(5) Preview Solution: See how your solution will look before publishing it to the display.

4.2 Async Mode

In Async Mode, users can push program content to multimedia players through ViPlex Express, which will then store the content locally and automatically play it according to a preset schedule.

This mode is particularly suitable for display systems driven by multimedia players, and can improve the operating efficiency of application scenarios such as advertising machines, digital signage networks, and information broadcasting.

4.2.1 Basic functions

1) Check the number of devices

• Online: The Taurus series device has been correctly connected and logged in, and can be operated directly through ViPlex Express.
• Not logged in: The device is connected but not logged in yet. You need to log in before you can manage it.
• Offline: Please check whether the network connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) is stable.

2) Search for devices by IP address

• If you encounter connection problems when connecting directly to the Taurus device using an Ethernet cable, you can enable the DHCP service to assign a dynamic IP address.
• Before enabling DHCP, you need to disable the firewall or enable ICMP echo.
• If the network is still unstable, it is recommended to set a static IP for the PC.

5.1 How to start using Viplex Express

• If .NET Framework 4.5 is not installed on your computer, the software will automatically install it.

• After the installation is complete, the software will take some time to successfully inject the plug-in into the CMD command line tool of the operating system.

5.1.3 Import videos and manage LED screens

• After the plug-in is successfully injected, you can directly import the video file you want to play.
• Manage and control the connected LED displays.

5.1.4 Connecting LAN Devices

• Use the interface provided by Viplex Express to quickly search and connect to all devices in the local area network.
• After the connection is successful, you can publish the program and play it on the display.

5.1.5 Managing and Optimizing Storage Space

• Viplex Express takes up less space, but if you are running low on storage, please clean up unnecessary files on your computer or other devices to free up more space.

Special Notes:

For AVI files, only the following video encoding formats are supported: MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG-4 ASP, H.264, DivX 4/5/6, XviD, SV1, 3ivX D4, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, MKV, AMR, WebM, WMV, MP3.

AVI files with certain encodings such as DX50 or MP4V are not supported.

If you encounter an unsupported video format, you can use professional video conversion software to convert it to MP4 format to ensure smooth playback in Studio Mode.
